Vive le France!
Above: French flags flying unfurled! Say that fast 10x's!
Below: Practically every important administrative and/or govt building in Paris has a courtyard with a sculpture of some kind.

Above: A view of the Eiffel Tower from Les Invalides. It was a hazy day but you can still (barely) make out the Tower in the background--but its the cannons in the foreground which really make this shot!
Below: This pic was taken from a bridge spanning the river Seine. To the left is...the Left Bank where the farthest of the 2 buildings is the D'Orsay Museum.
To the right of the image and just out of sight is the Louvre.

Above: Claudia behind the Rodin museum. The museum was actually the hotel Auguste Rodin and fellow artists lived in. On some occasions when he couldnt pay the rent he sculpted pieces for the landlord who in turn made the building into a museum when the artist died.
(Not to be confused with the Rodan Museum in downtown Tokyo  :)
Below: Me. In front of something. Somewhere.

This is the view halfway down the spiral staircase of L'Arc de Triumphe. Talk about a tough climb. And to make matters worse I was in the front of the line so I couldnt stop to rest or catch my breath. By the time I got to the top I was on Asthma Defcon 4.
But the view was worth the hike...I guess.
No, it really was.
